This is a place for me to share my thoughts about functional programming, web development, the state of the web, and anything else that seems relevant at the time. Most content will be related to Clojure. It is what I do for my day job and is my language of choice.
The majority of my posts will just be thoughts on a topic I've encountered, or light discussion of a project I'm working on. I make no claims that my perspective is the only correct one, or even correct at all, and I am open to discussion and changing my mind. I hope that by sharing my thoughts and experiences, I can help others, and myself, to become better developers, maybe even better people.
The tone of this blog is very casual and conversational. If I forced myself to write formally with any frequency, I'd be bored out of my mind. If you're a current or future business partner, client, or employer reading this, know that I am fully capable of writing and behaving with the decorum expected in professional contexts and I've intentionally chosen not to do so here.
